This is an Original, complete issue of 20 pages (includes Supplement) dated June 7, 1879 -- Vol. 23, No. 1171 -- Illustrated with wood cut engravings -- Light moisture stain around edges, otherwise very nice condition -- The Front Cover has a full page engraving by Ivan Pranishnikoff titled "Sad Memories--Decoration-Day" -- Page 444 has an engraving accompanying a poem by H. Pyle titled "The Robin's Vesper" -- Page 445 has three engravings, titled as follows: "The Late Hon. Asa Packer", "Louis Auguste Blanqui", and the third by W. M. Cary titled "Left To Perish" (Indian) -- Pages 448 & 449 have an excellent double page centerfold engraving titled "Decoration-Day The Spirit Of The War. 'No, no; it seems like mockery--now.' " -- Page 451 has an interesting article on "Egypt" -- Page 452 has a large engraving titled "Boating On The Cabool River--Visit To The Caves At Chicknour" -- Page 453 has an article titled "Tom Moore" (Thomas Moore, Poet) accompanied by five engravings, including an engraving by J. M. Falconer of "Moore's Cottage On The Delaware" -- Page 457 has two engravings of horses, one titled "Edward, Owned By Frank Work, Esq.", the other "Maud S., Owned By William H.
