(man asleep under a tree while fishing) -- Page 393 has a large engraving titled "Hercules Tears Theseus From The Rock To Which He Had Grown" (political cartoon) -- Page 396 has two large engravings, one by W. L. Judson titled "The Wreck Of The Canadian Excursion Steamboat 'The Victoria'", the other titled "A Sunday Excursion On The Ohio River" (riverboat) -- Page 397 has a lovely, large engraving titled "The Beautiful Wretch" (story illustration) -- Page 400 has a large engraving by Thomas Nast titled "The New (U.S.P.) Stamp Act--Approved" (political cartoon) -- Page 401 has two large engravings, one by T. De Thulstrup titled "The Inter-Collegiate Athletic Games", the other by J. Pennell titled "Wheelmen In Boston--Review By The Commander On Commonwealth Avenue" -- This issue contains a portion of the serial "Christowell" by R. D.
