(20 cm.) [12]13-223p. Green cloth with gilt letters on the spine. Almost no wear to extremities, green cloth faded where dust jacket is chipped, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Dust jacket somewhat tattered but most all there and not price-clipped. This is the story of two men, Svend Norman, a woodsman from Alaska, and Paul Rhodes, former high official in General Electric, who saw the U.S. in distress during the Depression and sought a new way to live, e.g. UXA, The Unemployed Exchange Association, a 1930s grassroots economic development, and SBCCI, Souther Building Code Congress International.
