We ship books in cardboard boxing with appropriate internal packaging material. Weights are based on the actual book weight plus 8 ozs for box and materials. Insurance is the option of the purchaser, and is not included in our typical shipping. If you have special shipping needs including insurance, wanting signatures, or special packaging please ask prior to making a purchase.
