" Nissim ben Reuven (1320-1376) was a Catalonian talmudist and halakhic authority who is often considered one of the last talmudic scholars of medieval Spain. Much of his work has dealt with the commentary of other rishonim. At a certain point, Nissim began writing a commentary on the talmud, though much of it was lost or remains in manuscript form.
