4 vols. Index. Illustrated with 64 lithographic plates, each with multiple images. Vols. 1 thru 3 in orig. calf, gilt, over marbled boards, somewhat worn & rubbed. Vol. 4 has been nicely rebound in 1/2 morocco over marbled boards with the original worn backstrip laid back down. Vol. 3 has been rebacked and has later endpapers. Vol. 1 is lacking the top 2" of its backstrip. Hinges of Vols. 1 & 2 cracked but holding. Outer leaves of all vols. foxed. Round rubber stamp of "Torquay Society" on verso of each title page. Title pages of Vols. 1 & 2 with small paper flaws and the loss of a few letters. Bookseller Inventory # 8073
