There are 16 maps, many are fold-outs: The U.S. West of the Missouri in 1860, and East of the Missouri in 1861 (frontispiece), Battlefield of Young's Branch, Campaign in Tennessee, Fort Donelson, The Seven Days Battle, Eastern Virginia, Battle of Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Route of Ewell's Corps, Grant's Vicksburg Campaign, the Army movements around Chattanooga, Sherman's Campaign, Grant's and Sheridan's Campaign in both 1864 and 1865, and the Military Map of the Marches of U.S. Forces. 454 pp with index. Light ocassional underlining, light pencilling to margins and rear endpapers. Rear hinge just started, sunning to spine, lower corners slightly frayed, endcaps moreso with a few tiny tears. Light shelfwear with some tiny little pinprick-like dents that don't go through fabric, a few little spots of faint soiling. Gilt lettering to spine, deep red cloth-covered boards.
