About this Item

Blue cloth with gilt lettering to front cover. 81 pages. Page titled "A Word" has three tears along the hinge side, where there are three staples. Hinges sound. Text pages clean and tight. Binding shows smoke damage to both covers, and rear cover also has spots and bits of paper adhered to it. Small faded areas on spine. Laid in is a letter dated in 1937 from the librarian of The James V. Brown Library in Williamsport, PA, to the author, saying that their copy of his book was destroyed in "the flood" and asking if he can replace it. It looks as though he did, and this one was damaged in "the fire." A hard luck title? Also laid in is a pamphlet with a 1906 schedule of services for the First Presbyterian Church of Milton, with a picture of the church. Pamphlet is folded once. Bookseller Inventory # 903055
