About this Item

This is the increasingly scarce 368 page so-callled "Yonkers Edition" in the publishers original blue cloth slightly scuffed. Translated from the 8th French Edition by Mrs. Alfred Gatty (with some corrections). "I am going to tell you, my dear child, something of the life and nature of men and animals." First part "Man" explains the hand, tongue, teeth, throat, stomach, intestinal canal. Enough said. Reads to learn; go forth to share. Size: 12mo - over 6" - 7" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 003390
