London 1838. first edition. Two volumes, complete. 8vo., 376pp., 420pp., uniformly bound in later cloth. These two volumes form a complete set as published in 1837. (A third volume by Tooke extending this work through 1838 and 1839 was published in 1840 which we do not have) and three more volumes were published by Tooke (1848-one volume) and Tooke and William Newmarch (1857-two volumes) completing the study through 1856 (we have these final 3 volumes for sale under a different listing.) Library numbers at heel of each spine. Portion of New York Stock Exchange check out slip affixed to free blank in Volume I, whole check out slip affixed to free blank in Volume II.
