Complete three volume set. All first editions (per matching 1911 dates upon each volumes' title and copyright pages). No dust jackets. All hardcover, H 24.25cm x L 17cm, uniformly bound in original dark blue cloth decorated with bright gilt stamped crests upon front boards and bright gilt stamped bars and lettering to spines. Gilt top edges; toning to deckle fore-edges and deckle bottom edges. Some toning and foxing to endpapers with past owner's ink signature at top of each volume's front free endpaper; each volumes has at least a few leaves which remain uncut at their fore-edges. Unpaged color frontispieces and b/w plates in each as well. Occasional spots of soiling to interior pages as well as scattered light foxing most often occurring on pages opposite the books' plates; some leaves of Volumes II and III have shallow faint moisture staining at top margins. VOLUME I: FROM THE FOUNDING OF THE FRATERNITY TO THE AGITATION FOR NORTHERN EXTENSION. 488 pages. Rear hinge shaken. Laid-in between pages 4-5 is small clipped piece of paper with "800" printed in black and left in book in case it has some significance. VOLUME II: FROM THE BEGINNING OF NATIONAL LIFE TO THE REVIVAL OF PENNSYLVANIA DELTA. 490 pages. Binding slightly shaken between front flyleaf verso and frontis recto but otherwise firm. Small piece of paper with pencil initials laid-in between frontispiece and title page again left in case it has some significance. VOLUME III: FROM THE BOSTON CONVENTION OF 1900 TO THE MEETING OF THE SUPREME COUNCIL IN 1910. 520 pages. Binding is firm. Again with small piece of paper with pencil initials laid-in between frontis and title page.
