Vol. I starts with the first settlement and continues to the Orr Riot. Chapters I through XXXIII, 575 pages. Vol. II begins at the Civil war and ends in chapter reveiwing distinguished visitors. Chapter XXXIV throughLXXXV, pgs. 577 - 1127 plus an index at the rear. Vol.s III & IV are detailled biographies and some engraving of the leading citizens.
