Front hinge starting to crack, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 160 captioned cartoons Humorous satirical cartoons illustrating episodes from British history, first published in the Morning Leader in 1898 and later expanded and reprinted a number of times. Arthur Moreland (1867-1951) was the influential political cartoonist of the paper, founded in 1892 and merged with The Daily News in 1912 (British Newspaper Archive).
