A handsome chart of this important whaling port, extending from Mishaum Point up to New Bedford, across to Fairhaven and around to Scouticut Neck, with a depth of inland detail. Lengthy tidal observations, notes on light houses, and sailing directions, here by C.R.P. Rodgers Lieut U.S.Navy. There are five views, one above the chart and four below, which show lighthouses, steeples and other structures significant as navigational aids at sea.
