Light wear and slight bumping to ends of spine and corners. Front board bowed slightly. Decorative bookplate from the collection of Sir John Dodd on front pastedown. Light rippling to free endpaper and a few sheets following. Very light foxing to rear endpapers and outer edges of text block. Frontis portrait of Service. A very slight bump to the top outer corner of some of the text block. In dust jacket, not price clipped. Jacket has chipping to edges of spine and corners with a rather large chip (4 X 6 CM) to the top of the back cover. There is some soiling as well as some closed tears. Some mild professional restoration has been done to jacket to prevent more chipping from occurring. A nice copy. very good A28 b. In Mitham.
