Complete 51-volume set (50 numbered volumes plus "Lectures"). On all volumes, bindings are okay, although many have some weakness after the first signature (usually at the "Introduction") , with the webbing showing on seven or eight. Pages are unmarked except for some pencil notes in Volume 20 (Divine Comedy) . Pages are slightly aged -- with endpages much darker -- and three have a little foxing on front endpages. Ex-owner's name on Volume 42 only. Cloth covers show a little wear to edges, mainly at spine tips. Volume 36 has small chip at top of spine. Some spine covers are a little sun-faded, especially Volume 42.; The Five Foot Shelf Of Books; 17.5 X 17.0 X 12.5 inches. Seller Inventory # 30513

Set is complete in 51 volumes. First edition. 1909-1914. Poor condition. Heavy usage and shelf wear. I find this set attractive but a majority of the population will be disappointed by the condition. If condition matters please do not buy this set. It has heavy usage wear. Heavy wear. Splits. Fraying. Internal hinges are broken. Loose. Looseness from use. Set has heavy usage wear. It was very loved. Complete first edition set it in poor condition. This set has a lot of generalized wear. If condition matters I have other sets in better condition. Still a good complete set. Cloth bindings are original and are over 100 years old. Approximately 8 inches tall. Each volume will be well protected for shipping via Priority Mail. Poor condition only. Set has heavy wear. The set has more wear and looseness than can be shown in the pictures. I tried to show the worst spots but it is not possible to show the looseness and broken hinges.
