About the Author:

Thomas LeRoy Townsend II is a former member of the Louisiana Army National Guard and USN Trident 1 Backfi t Missile technician on board the USS Casimir Pulaski (SSBN 633 Gold). With an MA in English, he is a published poet, an amateur inventor, a former WDW College Program cast member, a movie extra, and an author. His poetry has been seen in Northwestern State University's Argus Magazine. He and his wife, Hollie E. Townsend have appeared in the movies, The Better Man, renamed Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins with Martin Lawrence, Major Movie Star with Jessica Simpson, and Butter with Ty Burrell and Jennifer Garner. As a Walt Disney World College Program alumnus and former WDW cast member, he completed the WDW Executive Training Program earning the Ducktorate Degree with seventeen elective programs of study completed. Many of these were in Imagineering courses. Thomas left Disney to complete his college degrees at Northwestern State University with a recommendation to Imagineering upon completion of his degree requirements. His work at Disney included thirty-seven proposals for various attractions, products, and general improvements created in his own time and submitted with the approval of WDW Legal free and without further obligation on the part of Disney solely for the enjoyment of Disney guests from wherever they may come. He is currently earning his second Masters in Business Management online through Strayer University. Some of his other systems and technology are on fi le with Senator Mary Landrieu under Landrieu Project Number: 102699 and Congressman Jim McCrery, the Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, the US Army - Tank Automotive and Armaments Command, Department of Homeland Security, and the Atomic Energy Commission among others.
