A cougar attacks a jogger in the suburbs of a Western city. Charlie Sayers, a wildlife biologist facing retirement, is drawninto the search for the lion. About the Author:

Andrew Wingfield grew up in northern California and now lives in Alexandria, Virginia. He is on the faculty of New Century College, the integrative studies program at George Mason University. He writes and teaches to better understand how people and places shape each other. His work has appeared in Wild Earth, The Antioch Review, Terrain, ISLE, and other magazines.

It was in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. In August of 2014, we closed that shop but continue to sell on-line out of our home in Williamsburg, PA.
