He was noted for his knowledge and developments in the field of rare books, including African-American material (University of Southern Mississippi Libraries website). GOOD condition. Moderate browning along the extremities, with some offsetting and soiling. Minor curling and scuffing along the extremities. Faint vertical crease present at the center of the book. McKay 7279.
