About this Item

5 volumes. Hardbound in cloth-covered boards, two volumes issued with dust jackets. First editions. One of only 8 numbered sets with two books in special illustrated dust jackets all enclosed in a burlap and illustrated paper-covered slipcase. These books, originally issued separately, have been gathered together is this deluxe set that consists of the following: Henry Miller: A Book of Tributes, hardbound in illustrated dust jacket, one of 100 numbered copies signed by Craig Standish, the editor and publisher, with "Patron Saints" card laid in (lacking the two other items that the colophon states were laid in but we doubt ever were, at least in this set). Writers Three: A Literary Exchange all three limitations: 1 of 100 specially bound in leatherette and signed by Deborah Benson who wrote the essay, with a signed flyer enclosed in a pocket at the back, the American Trade Edition limited to 650 copies, and the European Edition limited to 250 copies. Henry Miller: A Personal Archive, softbound in illustrated dust jacket, limited to 1000 copies. Included is a folding colophon sheet stating this is No. 7 of an edition of 8. A remarkable gathering of material by and about Miller for the Miller aficionado. Very fine. The set: Bookseller Inventory # SKB-15996
