Excerpt: ... REGISTER OF THE CLERGY LABORING EST THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW YORK FROM EARLY MISSIONARY TIMES TO 1885. By The Most Rev. Michael Augustine Corrigan, D.D. IV. Hughes, Most Rev.
