3 volumes, royal 8vo; ex-library copy with usual markings, some hinges cracked, covers slightly scuffed and faded, slight wear to spine ends, else good or better in original blue cloth, gilt lettering on spines. These notes were first compiled to assist in the chronicle arrangement of the many undated State records. The notes are arranged alphabetically by reign, from Henry VIII to Anne (vols. I and II). Volume III contains historical notes on Scotland and Ireland, covering the same reigns as the other two volumes.
