Blue cloth covered boards with gold lettering on spine, and gold text and illustration on cover. Spine is faded to light brown, chipped away at top 1/2" revealing blue paper and tips of signatures underneath. Spine is not attached along most of rear hinge, just at bottom couple inches. Back cover faded along edges. Pages lightly toned at edges, clean and unmarked. Overall good to fair condition. Includes 2 navy bule cloth bookmarks sewn in, torn at bottoms. Ninth edition. Revised and enlarged with about four thousand illustrations. By Sir Banister Fletcher, president of the royal institute of British Architects (1929–1931).
