Housed in custom cloth slipcase, cloth dustjackets. HOWES M-33. First edition of the first history of the state. "[O]ne of the scarcest of state histories"--Sabin. Written by a Revolutionary officer and pioneer from personal knowledge and manuscript sources no longer extant. Volume Two is almost entirely devoted to the Revolutionary War.
