The 2 volumes cover the history of the Northwest Coast and Oregon Territory up to 1846; first volume the sea and second volume the land. Still a handy guide to the 'fur trade period' of the Pacific Northwest, though one must read it alongside the more modern works like Gibson, Mackie, and Gough. Clean copy inside.
