Sowers Printing Company, PA. One of the rarer of the Pennsylvania regimentals. They fought with a variety of notable cavalry commanders including Sheridan, Pleasonton, Stoneman, Buford and Merritt. The fought at Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Mine Run, the Overland Campaign, Sheridan s Valley Campaign, Five Forks and the Appomattox Campaign. Very good copy of the first edition. Blue cloth with gilted letters on the spine and a gold unit type seal on the cover. Strong binding and a complete unit roster. Stamp on the title page says Myerstown Community Library, gift of Mr Rodney Steltz, October 18, 1946, only marking that indicates ex-lib. 472 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 24181
