This is self-described a a record of one of remarkable achievements, of teamwork, of courage, and sacrifice and "helps substatniate your statement in Murphy's Bar that the 328th was the best damn regiment in the ETO". The original unit was organized in august 1917 at Camp Gordon, Georgia and was deactivated after the conclusion of the First World War. The Regiment landed on UTAH Beach on September 7-8, 1944. The regiment recorded 210 days of combat operations in France, Belgium, Luxemboug, Germay, Austria, and Czechoslovakia. This unit was part of Patton's Third Army. The Regiment suffered 489 Killed in Action, 64 Died of Wounds, 630 Seriously Wounded in Action, and 20 Missing in Action. Good. No dust jacket as issued. Ex-library.
