A history of the town of Durham, New Hampshire, from its founding and early settlers, to its military history, slavery, businesses, etc. Volume 2 provides a genealogy of the various residents and names associated with the town, with some biographical information. FAIR/GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy uneven fading with moderate scuffing to the covers and extremities. Minor to moderate soiling with a few minor stains. Interior hinges of both volumes cracked and separating, rather tenuously holding on to the bindings. Text blocks solid with minor scattered soiling and general toning to the paper. A reprint of the two volume 1913 history of the town of Durham, New Hampshire, from its founding and early settlers, to its military history, slavery, businesses, etc. Volume 2 provides a genealogy of the various residents and names associated with the town, with some biographical information. FAIR/GOOD condition. Front interior hinge cracked and separating, somewhat tenuously attached to the text block. Moderate scuffing, splitting and fraying to the cloth along the hinges. Minor soiling. General fading. Lower corners bumped, with the paper lifting off the rear corner, an inch or so in area affected. Ownership signature present in the interior. Text block solid but slightly shaken.
