The Constitution of the State of Virginia adopted by the Convention of 1901-2, x[xi-xii] 87pp., From the library of James M. Clift, Masonic Library Roanoke, VA. with their embossed stamp to title page. Early removal of book plate, errata laid in. Much on the decision to join the confederacy and the appointment of Robert E. Lee (p. 53-70). There was so much home and yet honest fears but this volume gives a marvelous picture of those who survived the Civiil War into the opening days of the 20th Century.
