Very nice copy of what for many may be his best book. This one is a crisp, unread copy. It is bound in dark, rich green boards with a gilt illustration of Smaug on lower right corner of front panle. Gilt lettering on spine. Illustrator is Alan Lee. Price intact jacket ($35) is a nice one with two new Alan Lee illustrations on front and rear panels. In mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
