Pictorial boards with blue/green cloth spine. First edition, first state, lacking the grr-r-r on page 23. Jacket price clipped, with the code 30-70 on the bottom. A work featuring illustrations by Maurice Sendak. GOOD jacket on a GOOD+ book. Minor scattered foxing and brownish staining to the jacket, with minor scattered soiling. Several small tears along the extremities, with some associated creasing and scuffing. A faint diagonal crease present at the lower front corner. Spine creased and browned, with a small hole in the jacket at the center. Minor foxing and brownish staining to the book itself, with minor soiling and scuffing along the extremities.
