Cushman, Jr., General U.S. Marine Corps, Commandant". General Cushman was awarded the Navy Corss and the Bronze Star for heroism during WWII. He commanded all Marine forces in Vietnam from June to Dec., 1967 and later served as Deputy Director of the CIA. Cushman was Commandant at the time of this book's publication and his bio appears on pp. 208-211. A Very Good copy in a Fair dust jacket. Cream-colored boards are clean, but with some browning/toning along the edges. Binding is sound and contents in nice shape. Jacket has several chips and short edge-tears.
