Welcome to our store! Homeward Bound Books is an online bookshop operated from our house in rural Port Hope, Ontario. We specialize in collectable children's and illustrated books, as well as local histories, particularly for Ontario. We also stock other subjects and titles that we find interesting or unusual. All items offered subject to prior sale. PAYMENT: We
accept Visa, Mastercard , American Express, and any card
that ABE currently processes, as well as Paypal, Cheques
(Checks) drawn on a Canadian or U.S. bank, and
International Money Orders. RETURNS: We make every
effort to describe our books with words and photos that
accurately represent what they are and in what condition.
If you do not believe your purchase is as described, it may
be returned (well-packed and in the same condition as
received) within 30 days of receipt for a full refund
(including return postage via the post office). We accept
returns for other reasons and will refund original cost of book,
but not including the postage costs. Please notify us in advance of your intention to

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on an average packaged weight of 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know that extra shipping is required. In the case of ephemera or lightweight materials, we will make every effort to reduce postage, where possible.
