Small Octavo. Inscribed to Dr. Eduardo Barraque, Paris, May 1909. First Edition. Legua Francisco Ibáñez was a painter of the Valencian school. At the Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1899 his art attracted wide attention, there are a number of photographs and examples of his art which was considered avant-garde and gained him some notoriety in Spain. A good copy bound in 1/4 red morocco over marbled paper covered boards, raised bands gilt, with compartment lettered and decorated in gilt, marbled endpapers, head chipped, sticker with numbers mounted to rear pastedown.
