This is a very early printing in an original second state dustjacket with the price of $2.50 to top right corner of the front flap, and $2.50 to bottom of rear flap. With five paragraphs of text and the code 60-90 to front flap. Rear flap states "The King's Stilts" and has a summary of the tale. Jacket's rear panel reads "Testimonials! Here's What the Children Say. ! (About The King's Stilts, Mulberry Street and The 500 Hats) " ; The book is tight and clean. Solid binding with a touch of light shelf wear and short gift inscription neatly inked to front endpaper. Interior is in excellent condition without coloring in or scribbling. Dustjacket shows wear with tears and chips along the edges with larger chips to spine ends, and previous owner's name and address to cover, however, the jacket looks Very Good in the new Mylar cover that now protects it. ; Small 4to.
