About the Author

Margret Rolf received the German Youth Literature Award in 1981 and both authors were recipients of the prestigious German Grand Prize from the Academy for Children's and Youth Literature in 1997. Michael Ruggeberg wrote the score heard on the accompanying CD. This book, with its original music, was awarded the Deutscher Musickeditionspreis in 2002.
