Uncolored map, printed on heavy paper with one horizontal fold, of Howard County. Rectangular surveys blocks numbered and key geographical features are keyed. Very good condition, some short tears at margins. This is a separately issued example of the map of Howard County which appeared in the 1885 Everts Atlas of Nebraska. It is distinguishable from a map removed from the atlas by the lack of a map number at the top right and the fact that it is uncolored. There are many manuscript markings, particularly in the top right quadrant of the map. One manuscript note in red ink indicates the line of the B&M Railroad from Central City.
