This 1971 edition, published by Grabhorn-Hoyem, prints (for the first time) the revised text of Howl (originally published in 1956), with a related poetic fragment, The Names (written in 1957), and with a new introduction by Allen Ginsberg discussing the publication of this revised text (headed "Note: 1971 Printing Howl & The Names").
