The boards and spine are much worn and full of character. They have marks, scuffing, stains from handling and storage and shelving. Yet, they are also benign and comfortable. Within, the contents have resolutely weathered the years. There is some wear to the guttering along the frontispage. The early and later pages are much marked from storage. The pages, by and large, whilst they have age-related marks and flushes of discolouration about the edges, are clean, clear, certain, convivial, agreeable, amenable. fk.
