About this Item

The two Dan Simmons omnibus vols. 'Hyperion' (pub 2004, 779pp), is a first edition subsequent impression with number line '5 7 9 10 8 6 4'. 'Endymion' (pub 2005, 983pp), is the first edition, first impression with full number line. Both published only in soft cover not hardcover. Both books have some very minor edge wear to top and bottom of covers, very minor creasing to spines, small presentation inscriptions to ffep, internally clean tight and square, both books looks hardly read. The triumphant novels of the Hyperion Quartet, together in two vols for the first time. The Hyperion books are credited with single-handedly reinventing and reinvigorating SF in the 1990s. A broad canvased, hugely imaginative and exciting SF epic, the books draw on the works of Keats and provide a uniquely intelligent and literary approach with cutting edge science, compelling characterisation and edge-of-your-seat excitement. ENDYMION. Two hundred and seventy-four years after the fall of the WorldWeb in Fall of Hyperion, Raoul Endymion is sent on a quest. Retrieving Aenea from the Sphinx before the Church troops reach her is only the beginning. Dan Simmons critically acclaimed fantasy novels, future cult classics. Quite scarce books. Also heavy books, extra postage will be required. Bookseller Inventory # 003004
