Blakeslee, Pres. 5 1/2" x 8" on one side only. ÂÂ "A plank toll road had been built in 1852 from Newfield to Ithaca, making the trip somewhat less difficult, but it was still essentially an all-day affair to make the round trip by horse and wagon or carriage.
