Publisher's original dark blue cloth, lettered in silver on the spine and front cover with a color pictorial inset of moths on the front cover, original ribbed clear dust jacket, in color pictorial card slipcase, 8vo. This is a reprint of the revised second edition. This volume covers the Homoneura and the Heteroneura - these include the large moths including the sphinx moths, luna moths, and others. The text is in Japanese but Latin names are used throughout. The table of contents is in Latin and there is a complete index to Latin names and a second index to Japanese common names.
