Title: Ideals of Life in France, or How the Great ...
Publisher: New York and London: D. Appleton and Company
Publication Date: 1890
Book Condition: Good
Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket
Edition: 1st Edition.
Embossed leather with gilt border and lettering stamped on upper board, gilt detail and lettering on spine (5 raised bands comprising 6 compartments), inside gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers; pp. 150, plus 225 copper-plates (photogravures and typogravures) made from oil paintings and drawings. A few small scuff marks here and there -- on raised bands, edges of boards -- with front board and endpaper detached. An excellent candidate for repair, as it's still very pretty and the contents are crisp and clean throughout. Priced accordingly. Bookseller Inventory # 7301
