About the Author: Hans P Brandt (1959) studied Visual Communication at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste. In 1984, he started working at the Institut für visuelle Kommunikation und Design (Berlin). Following a lectureship at the Kunstgewerbe Schule Zürich, in 1988 he came to Total Design (now called Total Identity), where he is managing director/shareholder.
