Synopsis:

When Dr. Lucas Crawford sustains a serious head injury in an automobile accident, the amnesia that follows is the least of his worries. He discovers that his DNA has been altered and he can see inside people. This ability is helpful to him as a surgeon but it is accompanied by rapid aging that will ultimately cause his premature death. What has caused the change in his DNA? Was he involved in a nuclear accident? Has he had an alien encounter? Is he the victim of a bizarre medical experiment? If only he could remember what happened to him at the Ginna Nuclear Facility.

About the Author:

Dr. Donald Duckles was born in the town of Poplar Bluff, located in the Bootheel of southern Missouri. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He graduated from the Medical College of the University of Illinois in 1955 and moved to Akron, Ohio, where he completed a residency in general surgery at the Akron General Medical Center. After two years in the Navy he moved to Rochester, NY, where he became a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical School. He maintained a private practice of surgery at Highland Hospital in Rochester for almost 40 years, retiring in June 2001. This is his second novel.
