Written by a British Royal Navy officer. This copy is signed by US World War I Brigadier General Henry J. Reilly, who wrote the history of the Rainbow Division in WWI. The book has General Reilly s notes in the page columns. Good copy of the first edition. The spine is partially sun faded and there is a tape mark from the front cover around the spine to the back cover roughly one inch from the bottom of the book. No dust jacket. 311 pages.
