This work passed through a number of editions and was translated into French. Inscribed by the author on verso of title page: 'To My Lord _____ as a mark of the authors sincere Esteem & Affection 9 March 1767.' A very good copy rebound in red morocco leather with gold ruling and lettering. Five raised bands on spine. Mild edge wear. Marbled endpapers. Mild foxing to first and last few pages.
