About this Item

These 2 volumes are not reprints but are the 1845 first printings. Well taken care-of by a divinity school. They are tightly bound with very clean, well attached covers without any cracking, in the original brown cloth with still bright gilt lettering on the spines. The only detractions are library labels on the lower spines, and a chip and tear to the top of vol. 2's spine. Slighly rubbed corners. xxxiv, 414; xv, 376 clean, crisp, and tightly bound pages, but with foxing, in some places heavy. Library bookplates, and library barcodes on the back inner covers. A bright gilt, original set. Bookseller Inventory # 13038
