It has information on the Gilchrist family (also spelled as Killcrease and Gilcrease earlier). This family settled in Virginia and South Carolina before coming to Walker and Dallas County, Alabama. Terry Sellers, Jr. was born in Quinton, Walker County, Alabama and grew up in nearby Cordova, Alabama, graduating from Cordova High School in 1956. In 1960-61, he graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Forestry / Wood Technology. He obtained his doctoral degree from the University of Tokyo in Japan.
