Welcome to Lime Bay and our home page. We started our on-line books in September of 1997. Why?.. because years of loving, reading and collecting books has gotten out of hand - that the hobby has grown bigger than the numerous book shelves throughout the house. Recently we were also asked to help with two family estates. One of these libraries was as eclectic as it was massive. So here we are¿
Our own interests are B.C. History, Art, Science and Nature, Collectables (especially toys, bottles), militaria, mystery and science fiction.
If you didn¿t see books you were interested in listed in the system, especially Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, Ruth Rendell, Piers Anthony, please ask, especially if you are interested in pocket books. We tend not to list our pocketbooks, but we have a lot of mystery and science fiction.
So where on earth is Lime Bay? It is an historic little cove off Victoria¿s outer harbour which looks out at the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic mountains, a view we fortunately get to share. The history of Lime Bay dates roughly to the 13th Century when it was used as a defensive site by the Salish peoples. In Historic times it served as a burial area for native peoples. Few traces remain of its past history, and today the bay¿s claim to fame is Spinnaker¿s Brew Pub, a must-stop on your waterfront stroll.
Victoria has always maintained a strong British influence. It is situated on Vancouver Island on the far west Coast of North America. It is a city of gardens, antiques, lots of book stores, and a beautiful spot for a holiday.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Expensive books may require additional costs for insurance, but you will be contacted to confirm or decline any additional costs. Paypal payments to International destinations must include Airmail shipping because of Paypals delivery standards.
